Professional Experience
Marina Ayres is an attorney focused on labor law, along with social security and civil law, advising and representing companies mostly on labor law matters, including litigation.

She has participated in complex labor cases, performing risk assessments, assessing future liabilities, managing legal teams, keeping track of court procedural publications to meet legal deadlines, researching case law and legal doctrine, handling direct contact with clients, preparing due diligence reports, assessing future liabilities, and preparing case progress reports.

In labor litigation she has elaborated petitions in all stages of a proceeding (both at discovery and enforcement proceedings), performed judicial hearings and oral arguments.

During her career, she has worked in the legal departments of large corporations, such as the steelmaker Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional – CSN, Nestlé Brazil, GlaxoSmithKline Brazil – GSK BR, Stiefel Laboratories, Fleury Laboratories, Honda Brazil, Toyota Brazil, Telecom Italia, Latam Airlines, BMC Software, Banco Itaú, Movicarga S/A, besides trade associations.

She has relevant judicial experience in the state of São Paulo, with the São Paulo State Prosecutor´s Office (Ministério Público Estadual de São Paulo) (2005), the Labor Court of Appeals for the 15th Region (Tribunal Regional do Trabalho da 15ª Região), Labor Court of Atibaia (Vara de Atibaia) (2006 to 2007), where she clerked for Judge Teresa Cristina Pedrasi, and served as judicial assistant (2007 to 2008), where she researched labor and social security law, jurisprudence and legal doctrine, and assisted in writing judicial rulings.

She has also practiced in specialized labor firms, such as Mascaro e Nascimento Advogados (2009 to 2014) and Forganes & Carrion Advogados (2014 to 2015).

From 2015 to 2017 she worked as an independent, and then joined Filhorini Advogados Associados in 2018 became partner of the labor law area.
